The Bros Landreth is a band that musically speaks to the theme of Generations. Young guys, still in their early 30s, siblings David and Joey Landreth grew up attending their father’s bar gigs, starting out when they were just babies. They were weaned on the blues-influenced albums of their parents – Bonnie Raitt, Ry Cooder, and Little Feat are often cited as important inspirations – and you can hear all those solid roots-rock influences in their music. They play it well, like it’s in their bones, in a four piece configuration with guitar, bass, drums, and some very sweet vocals. Their debut album, Let it Lie, won a Juno award, and after taking a hiatus to pursue solo projects they are now back with new material. David and Joey are joined by bandmates Ariel Posen on guitar and Ryan Voth on drums.
