Hope

Hope is located at the confluence of the Fraser and Coquihalla Rivers where the Fraser Valley and Fraser Canyon meet. The area is thus blessed with easily accessible mountainous terrain as well as lakes and rivers that offer outdoor activities that range from camping, hiking, fishing, golf, skiing, river rafting, soaring and mountain biking.  Coquihalla Canyon Provincial Park features the spectacular Othello-Quintette Tunnels which can be toured on foot or bike.  Visitors to the area will also enjoy the wood sculptures throughout the community of Hope which have garnered them the title of Chainsaw Carving Capital of BC.
