Eagleridge Outdoor Pool is open each summer for public swimming in this instance it was transformed into a resort setting for the pool scenes in Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

sumiqwuelu/Riverview is within the ancestral and core territory of Kwikwetlem First Nation. This 244-acre site is one of the top film locations in North America, and it includes Elf, Supergirl, Deadpool, Riverdale, X-Files, and Elysium.

Coquitlam’s premier urban park is a mix of sports fields, a stadium, gardens, a lake, and plenty of green space. Popular shows such as Supergirl and DC Legends of Tomorrow have been shot here!

Coquitlam Centre is one of B.C.’s largest shopping malls with over 200 stores and is a popular spot for filming. It has featured movies and TV shows such as Grumpy Cat, Juno, and more!

Golden Ears Provincial Park‘s majestic mountains, lush forests, and sparkling lakes offer a diverse terrain for filming, with its natural beauty providing a stunning backdrop for a variety of genres. Its proximity to Vancouver also made it a convenient location for films such as Riverdale; Shogun; and The Adams Project.

Port Haney’s picturesque waterfront, historic buildings, and connections to legendary train robber Billy Miner make it a popular filming location. The area offers a unique backdrop for capturing Maple Ridge’s charm and history, making it a favourite destination for film tourism. Look for Port Haney in films such as Supernatural, Honour Society, and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

Downtown Maple Ridge and the Civic Centre are popular filming locations due to their small-town charm and unique heritage buildings. The area has been used in productions such as The Flash, Fringe, The Killing, and Joy Ride.

Whonnock Lake and Park is a picturesque filming location in Maple Ridge, with serene lakeside views and lush greenery. Its natural beauty has made it a popular choice for productions such as Virgin River; Cruel Summer; and Supernatural.

The Billy Miner is a quaint pub directly across from the historic Port Haney Wharf and has been a popular filming location for movies such as Honor Society, Perfect Recipe, Peak Season, and Three Sisters.

This is an extremely popular spot for film sets and cinephiles alike. Rocko’s Diner has been the set of many popular movies and TV shows including Riverdale, Horns, Percy Jackson the Lightning Thief, The Tortured, and Killer Amongst.

Get ready for a sci-fi extravaganza at this popular movie location! With shows such as DC Legends of Tomorrow, Stargate Universe, Supergirl, Smallville, X-files, X-Men 2, The Flash, Siren and many more filmed here!

While famous for their tender-hearted Hallmark films, the Downtown is still not shy to a bit of action and adventure. Catch movies such as Playing with Fire, The Stand, and Beyond at this location!

The romantic atmosphere, elegant decor, and luxury cabins make Rowena’s Inn feel like a place where you can create your own Hallmark moment. Many Hallmark films have actually been filmed there.

This quaint downtown core has been used for filming including Wayward Pines, Virgin River, Falling For Vermont, Republic Of Sarah, Bad Times at the El Royale.

Located on the cusp of wilderness, the Fraser River Lodge is the perfect setting for filming. Most recently, the Fraser River Lodge was a set location for the romantic film My Best Friend’s Bouquet.

Sasquatch Mountain above Harrison Lake provides an alpine setting perfect for movies and where One Winter Wedding was shot.

Harrison Hot Springs’ own outdoor skating venue adorned in lights and available to all was the perfect setting for the stick on the Ice Video of local musician Todd Richard.

The iconic Harrison Resort has been a landmark in Harrison for over 100 years and has hosted many film stars as well as provided a backdrop to many movies including the recent My Best Friends Bouquet.

The Esplanade running along the south end of Harrison Lake has been the backdrop for many shows and movies including My Best Friends Bouquet, Still Standing and Solitary.

The Sasquatch and structure at the entrance to Harrison were built by the Timber Kings and featured in one of their episodes.

The famous Rambo film, First Blood was filmed in BC in November of 1981. A self-guided map of the filming locations in Hope can be picked up at the Hope, Cascades & Canyons Visitor Centre.

Memorial Park and the large carving in front of District Hall are featured in A Christmas Tree Grows in Colorado, as well as many other locations in the downtown area.

The beautiful year-round resort at Manning Park features hiking and mountain biking in the summer and skiing in the winter and is often the site of a film crew as they capture the holiday and ski aesthetics.

The Midtown Plaza in downtown Hope features several locally owned businesses. The shopping centre’s sign also appears briefly in First Blood (1982).
