Chilliwack has been at the forefront of Canadian rock and roll since 1970, but their roots go back beyond the psychedelic era of the 1960s. At that point, Bill Henderson joined their earlier incarnation, The Collectors, a legendary Vancouver group that had grown out of the CFUN Classics band. In the 1970s and 1980s Chilliwack registered a number of hits on Canadian radio with a string of platinum selling records. Over the years, the band’s roster has included some of Vancouver’s greatest music stalwarts, including the late Brian MacLeod, Claire Lawrence, and Ab Bryant. Today, the band is led by Bill, who is the lead singer, and has written or co-written the band’s best loved songs. Chilliwack promises to be a special closing celebration for our 40th anniversary!
