Sasquatch Mountain Resort Opening NEW Quad Chair
The new quad chairlift awaits instalment at Sasquatch Mountain Resort
Sasquatch Mountain Resort, formerly known as Hemlock Valley Resort, is now completing construction on their new quad chair lift, expected to be in operation for the 2019/2020 season. The above image was revealed on their Instagram account on their “Name the Lift Contest”. “This NEW CHAIR is a major step forward with our Phase 1 development plans for year round operations and downhill lift operated mountain biking!” The plan was originally announced on their Facebook page in 2017. “We have purchased the Doppelmayr High Speed Detachable Quad Chair from Austria and partial components have already arrived safely on Canadian soil! This NEW CHAIR will be replacing Skyline (our red chair) and installation is scheduled to commence at the end of the 2017/18 season, with the hopes of opening for next season.” Sasquatch Mountain is Fraser Valley’s favourite alpine playground, and it delivers fantastic family fun that everyone can enjoy. Skiing, boarding, snowshoeing, tubing, the terrain park, ski clubs, special events, mountain dining, and night skiing & boarding are just some of the activities that can be enjoyed at the Sasquatch Mountain Resort.
