Craft Breweries Along Route 7

At Scenic 7 BC, there is nothing we love more than taking the time to explore some of the best places for you to wine and dine. Here are some of our favourite craft breweries along the scenic 7 Highway, and if you are the designated driver don’t panic as they offer a growler and take out service so you do not need to miss out on trying these unique and flavourful beers!

Mariner Brewing in Coquitlam

Located on Lansdowne Drive in the Coquitlam Centre Neighbourhood, Mariner Brewing is Coquitlam’s first craft brewery, offering a selection of craft beers that were created as a means of exploring new territories in beer brewing. This craft brewery offers an adventure that you will want to be a part of. Mariner Brewing brews a selection of craft beers that boast a wide range of flavour profiles. Mariner Brewing also offers an eclectic selection of gourmet hot dogs (Vietnamese, perogy, donair, and the classic dog) to ensure they don’t let their patrons go hungry. If you’re not a hot dog fan, chow down on the spinach or beer dip. Some of the craft beers from Mariner Brewing include:

  • Northwest IPA: Bright – Tropical – Juicy
  • Golden IPA: Golden – Citrus – Wheat
  • Amber Ale: Caramel – Coffee – Spice

Ridge Brewing in Maple Ridge

Ridge Brewing is a new and upcoming microbrewery in Maple Ridge that produces exquisite craft beer. With a 10 HL brew house and three 20 HL fermenters, Ridge Brewing is able to produce different styles of beer that they rotate through their menu on a regular basis in order to provide customers with new tastes and flavours. Ridge Brewing also includes a tasting room along with a manufacturing area. Some of the craft beers from Ridge Brewing are:

  • Green Eyes White – IPA
  • Wind and Sea – Northwest Pale Ale
  • Hairy Dona – American Amber Ale
  • Pussy Cat Blonde – Pilsner
  • Cafe Morena – English Brown Ale
  • Ay Caramba! – Jalapeno IPA
  • Pride – Berliner Weiss

Mission Springs Brewing Company in Mission

Mission Springs Brewing Company is a 10-barrel brew house and restaurant overlooking the Fraser River in Mission, BC. Offering something for all levels of beer drinker, from a light fruity Radler to full-bodied Stout that will be sure to put hairs on your chest! Their single temperature infusion-mashing program allows them to produce big flavours and wonderfully balanced beers, including the classics:

  • Blue Collar – Pale Ale
  • Lemon Ginger Radler
  • Trailblazer Pilsner (popular with the mountain biking community)
  • Lougheed Lager
  • Fat Guy Stout

Hope Brewing Co. in Hope

Hope Brewing in Hope, BC, allows customers to brew their own high-quality craft beers and ales using a cask system for lager fermentation. This system allows them to ferment pilsners and lagers that are very clean and crisp, with little aftertaste and no preservatives. Hope Brewing has over 80 recipes of beers and ales to choose from.
