Maple Ridge

Haney House

Open on Sundays, this iconic heritage house was once the home of the Haney family from 1883 to 1979! In 1979, descendants of the original occupants of the house donated the home and property to the District of Maple Ridge as a museum of family life. Click here to learn more and plan your visit!

The Mountain of the Golden Eagle Mural

This gorgeous mural, created by Kwantlen First Nation artist, Brandon Gabriel, can be found in Downtown Maple Ridge. With the two golden eagles over the Golden Ears Mountains, it represents Maple Ridge’s Halkomelem name “Z’wa?acstan”, which translates to “place where the golden eagles are”.

Agassiz-Harrison Museum & Visitor Information Centre

Celebrating local, regional, and national history all in one, is the Agassiz-Harrison Museum & Visitor Information Centre. Even the building itself is historical having been built in 1893 and being one of Canada’s oldest wooden CPR stations!
