Sasquatch Provincial Park

Sasquatch Provincial Park is a great family destination located off Highway 7, approximately 6 kilometres north of Harrison Hot Springs, and is often characterized by its series of pocket lakes, a unique second growth and birch forest, and scenic mountain ridges. This park is home to two lakes, Hicks Lake and Deer Lake, and is ideal for a wide range of activities, such as swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, boating, camping, and much more.

Golden Ears Provincial Park

Golden Ears Provincial Park is one of the largest parks in the province and is prized for its recreational opportunities. This provincial park offers excellent opportunities for hiking and horseback riding, as well as all sorts of water sports (swimming, windsurfing, water-skiing, canoeing, boating, and fishing) on Alouette Lake. Golden Ears Provincial Park also boasts three large campground, and a wide variety of vegetation and mountainous backcountry that gives this park a rugged feel.

Coquihalla Canyon Provincial Park

Located just 12 kilometres from Hope, the Coquihalla Canyon Provincial Park is a great place to stop for a picnic or a short hike. This park also features the Othello Tunnels, five tunnels built through the mountain ranges as part of the Kettle Valley Railway in 1914. There are many spectacular viewing opportunities available on the trail, through the tunnels, and on the bridges, as well as many picnic tables new the parking lot and along the trail, beside the river.

Silver Lake Provincial Park

Silver Lake Provincial Park is situated about 12 kilometres southwest of Hope at the east end of the Fraser Valley, and is a small, largely underdeveloped lakefront area. Visitors can enjoy fishing, picnicking, boating, and camping. Nestled amongst the dense rainforest with tall cedars and hemlocks, Silver Lake Provincial Park offers rustic campground sites near the lake, as well as a day use area with a beach.

Rolley Lake Provincial Park

Rolley Lake Provincial Park is located northwest of Mission, less than an hour’s drive from Vancouver. In the summertime, this park is a popular area for day and camping, offering picnic tables, a small beach area, and a children’s playground. While the park is generally closed in late fall and winter, there are still hiking trails that you can utilize all year long.
