Lights at Lafarge
Where: Lafarge Lake in Town Centre Park, 1299 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam
When: Kick-off Event: Friday, November 24 | 5:00 PM-8:00 PM. Lights on until February 28.
Admission: Free
Join the celebration with live entertainment on the Town Centre Park Community Plaza Stage, glittering light displays that encircle the walking loop around the lake, food vendors, roving performers, family crafts, and more. This year’s kick-off event will take place entirely outdoors, so visitors should dress for the weather as they take in the festivities. This season’s outdoor exhibit features a 1.2-km pathway that includes more lights, and re-imagined elements that highlight flora, fauna, and fairytales. Learn more here.

Illuminate inspires both visitors and residents to explore the abundant offerings of Maple Ridge. Each winter, an enchanting holiday display transforms 2km of the Harrison lakefront into a magical world of lights highlighting our local wildlife and the elusive Sasquatch. As you stroll along Harrison’s promenade, you’ll delight in the custom-built light displays. Get a group shot with the fun painted selfie stands featuring delightful creatures. This fun contest challenges you to find all 10 Sasquatches hidden within the holiday-themed business windows around Harrison Hot Springs. There are 15 businesses participating but only 10 have hidden Sasquatches!
